get more power

    does anyone know or has anyone heard how to get more power out of an isx cummins without flashing the ecm?

    im a company driver and I don't mind what I do but just want more horsepower to pull hills with. im dropping 20 to 25 mph on hills and im only grossing less then 80 grand... ive heard you can jump wires on your motor but not sure where. any help wud be great...

    Your out of luck bud.
    There's no magic pixie dust or anything that's going to make it have more power.

    You would have to go to cummins and get a uprate done.

    Oh Jethro were do I begin? Its real simple if you want more power buy your own dam truck,crank it up as high as you want and hammer down. Until that time do not mess with someone Else's truck.:mad:

    Messing with a company truck is a good way to find yourself driving for Carolina Cargo. When you get caught, they'll be the only one to hire you.

    Yes.simple..take out the xr power module and rewire the set pin from no 9 to 22 on the ecm.

    Your only option should be to ask the company if they can dial it up a bit.

    Every single driver I've ever had has said "could use a bit more" I have a pete that puts 600 to the tires and a driver asked for more!
