What would be considered an appropriate gift from a new driver to a trainer assigned by the company at the conclusion of training?

Something he can use such as a package of work gloves or a high quality flashlight.
I've seen drivers wearing those miners lights with a headband which makes it easier to do night work such as pre-trips, sliding tandems, etc.

The past few years I've been giving opium pipes as gifts. They're beautiful, made of brass and intricately carved with Chinese characters.

    Mr.X Thanks this.

nothing more than a simple handshake, and a good-byeeee.......

before you know it, the trainers will start mentioning what they have been given by students, nearly in this scenario, begging for another gift.

they did the job of training, job done...da end..........
