Giltner, Jerome Idaho, has steadily decreased starting pay for company drivers over the years. They also stole $1374.62 from us when we quit because of junk loads. When Giltner's fuel cards occasionally stopped working and we were stranded at the fuel island, dispatch tried to get us to pay for reefer fuel! That's why we quit and that's why Giltner has three separate lawsuits against them. Most of what you'll do with Giltner will be Southern California Port (4-6 hour wait, zero wait pay) to Wal-Mart DC (3-5 hr wait, no wait pay, often 3:30 AM delivery time). And then, since Giltner is 100% reefer, YOU will pay $400.00-$600.00 a week in lumper fees, pallets, and port fees. The good loads are brokered-out, while you get the junk loads. Giltner's whole operation is run out of couple of tin barns in a mud lot in Jerome, Idaho. Also, they will claim that you will supposedly be "paid if you aren't dispatched in 24 hrs" BS, but they will just dispatch you within 24 hr after unloading, but often for a re-load 2-3 days in the future, i.e., many times we unloaded at wallmart at 3:30 AM Friday morning and were dispatched on Friday for a load that didn't reload until Monday.
Giltner stole $1374.62 from us, fuel cards would stop working, many complaints in the forums

He's right. You pay around $500/week for lumpers that you hope are reimbursed. Very long, unpaid wait to load/unload.
