I start Prime trucking schools orientation on tues Nov. 1st. I have read somethings that have me concerned whether I am making the right career move with this company. I am excited about the oppurtunity. Just have read some negative post. I was just hoping that maybe someone out there has gone through their training and had some words of encouragement and support for the company. Thanks for your time. Shaun

if you have any questions there are a lot of us on that train and drive for prime iron pony being another myself years and yearsss ago i drove for swift seemed like 1 problem after another went local for 1 year then went lease op with prime and i hate to say god bless all the swift drivers i know what most of them have gone through and are going through, but driving for swift was like having my wisdoms pulled over and over again compared to driving for prime.... the entry to swift to drive even after working side by side with jerry on alot of his personal project was still very rocky at best when i came to prime it was like hi how are you you know how to drive heres a truck have fun no questions asked....

dont get me wrong every company has their problems... some more than others some less than others... mike runs the range and trainers so if you have any questions even after you get there talk to him he prolly dont remember me but i remember him hahaha hes good people any questions ask take the bad with a grain of salt if you only hear a few issues but if its a lot of issues with a lot of people then maybe their is clout with the claims.. also we have a lot of great people here on the forum as well if you respect them they will respect you. it goes the same on the road... cornbread

When you find a company on this forum that doesn't have negative posts about it (especially the "starter companies"), let me know.

I've been with Prime almost 2 years now. They aren't a perfect company. But I started here, trained here, and am very happy here.

    revslev Thanks this.

heading out for the first time from springfield with my trainer in the morning, i didnt have to go to the driving school (got my cdl on harvest) but orientation was organized and very informative. Hope to see you out on the road or at the terminal someday.
