It's all by photograph and I think if you only do it like once a year they don't worry with you.
I done it once myself before buying my sunpass and now haven't been to florida in over a year.
I sat figured a lot of the toll road cost and the most economical ways to go time and money wise.
back when I used to go to NYC and long island regularly I could get out on long island and back for like twenty dollars, where lots guys were paying like 100 dollars. Made many a trip across the Tampon Zee bridge.

You will get a bill in the mail for the sunpass if you go through it but don't have a transponder.
Usually it's the toll owed plus a 2.50 processing fee, can be paid with CC.
If you went through one and think you have a bill go on sunpass and look up your tag number. It takes about a month to get in the system. -

Take your I75 and take your I4 into Orlando. Save your money for the good grub here and there in Florida.
I never touched a toll in Florida that I can recall. If there was any toll to be done I kept that in NYC, Jersey (I used to run across small roads in Jersey bypass everything to New England but Jersey made law corralling all semis to the National Network. Essentially killing the diners I would stop at constantly in Jersey off the path. -
