I took and passed my hazmat test today. I know I will never need it at WSE, but one of the carriers I am looking at later on requires it. I got fingerprinted last month, and my TSA letter was waiting on me when I got home. I had been studying the state issued manual, and took a lot of practice tests. As I sit down in front of that testing computer this morning all I keep seeing was that number 6, that's all the wrong answers you get before you fail. I missed 4 and was on question 21 of 30 when I missed that last one. I kept saying come on lets get to question 29, then 30 and I got that passed message. I have not told safety yet, and wonder if they will wonder why a reefer driver needs hazmat.

Congrats on passing. It's always good to have it even if you don't need it. You definitely are more employable with it. Maybe safety will think that as well and keep you moving.
