    Cobra makes good inverters.

And any truck specific GPS (Rand Mc Nelly tnd, Garmin Dezl are the two best imo)

I've used the tnd series since I started driving.

    Tami Thanks this.

I plan to use (free) Trucker Path (GPS) on my iPhone. It's rated 5 stars out of 5 by 147 people. Others in the forum here swear by it, too.

    Tami Thanks this.

I use Cobra 2575 without problems. Trucker path is not fully featured gps app, get Copilot instead

    Thanks!

I wonder if you can let us know exactly which "version" of CoPilot? There seems to be several. Are you talking about the $150 one?

Trucker path uses google maps and so its really just for cars. I use it for parking and scale houses. As for that the trucker path is awesome. I would suggest getting a stand alone GPS like the rand mcnally 520 or above. I have the tnd tablet which is good but i started with a 520.(fyi im selling that one ) Also get yourself a rand mcnally map book. money is tight at first so buy the paper one if you have to but always have one with you. The GPS does not always do the right thing. Mine has more then once tried to send me down a road we cant go down.
