They are well intentioned, but very unorganized. I'm doing their new sysco run.east coast to ca/az, and back with produce.have spent the last 2 weekend waiting for product. A total of 25 hrs waiting. If you like waiting around then this job is for you.they originally didn't pay detention, but after enough f-bombs and threatening to quit, they said they would pay $ 75 aster 5 hrs. The runs are nothing like advertised. And some other runs pay.48 cpm, the rest of us get.385 cpm. If you are dealing with ryan swope. He's not being truthful when hiring divers. Very disappointed with this company.

Yeah produce does have a lot of wait time to it. You can call the plant with a P/U number and oh yeah it's ready!
    Yeah right!

The things are still hanging off the tree or in the ground! They call it's ready to be picked as ready to be shipped!

If these produce companies or actually the brokers had to pay detention they would NOT put it up on the boards or given to brokers untill it was at temperature and on pallets staged at the door!

Well we are still hanging in with greatwide. The wait times are petty much a thing of the past.. The $ has been upgraded, and we finally got the new truck, coulda been a lil better truck for a team operation, but out will have to do.(cascadia). We have learned how to play the produce pickup game.which can be tricky, overall things at greatwide have improved vastly. But like everything else in the world, things could be better..... I guess one step at a time, our whatever stupid cliche you wanna insert.

Ended up giving up on Greatwide a few months ago. They just were getting back to their old ways. Couldn't take it any longer.. Loved the miles when they were rolling. how anyone stays with them is beyond me..

Gretwide made us get on a new forced voluntary program to obtain miles lol. If you did not join the voluntary forced dispatch program then they made you suffer and go broke. You wait all day for a load they make you take and if you do not like the load tough .we we're a owner op.co. But now who knows. my spotless record was tarnished when a car ran into my trailer side it was clearly there fault I was sitting still waiting to turn . I have a preventable accident on my record and they won't even call me to discuss this?Police report shows it wasn't my fault yet they damaged my record. lay over pay is a joke you have to fight for it.
