It was staffed 2 years ago. Hauled 8 precast bridges up there as they are builing an all weather road from Inuvik to Tuk.

Eagle Plains has fuel at about 60 cents a litre higher than FSJ.

I think Eagle plains had fuel for $0.84/litre when I was through there... in 1984.

Made it past Watson Lk no problem. $169 for my permit n away I went. Fuel was surprisingly cheaper then I thought it would be...1.149.

Im just curious, may I ask how are this loads paid, worth the risk?
Does your insurance company cover you on this roads?
    What truck are you driving?
Post photos plzzzxz, this is interesting,I just searched they have 30 days without sunset up there; I would love to drive this route just for life experience but not in my truck, lol !
Still have Internet up there? Get a GoPro and post on youtube, plz

To answer yer questions, these loads pay by the load as I quote it, not worth the risk at all and no way would my insurance want to insure me even on 100 ft of gravel road...thus why I am doing it...

    Johny41 Thanks this.

Should have stopped at the Yukon Motel they have free showers for truckers or across the Highway at the Nisutlin Trading Post. The later usually have the cheapest fuel with the trucker discount. It was 1.129 per Liter when I came South about a week ago. The Petropass in Whitehorse supposed to have a shower, but I never stopped there for one. I haven't been out to Dawson City in about 6 years and never ran the Dempster before. I keep going North to Alaska.
