I have one of those "clean idle" stickers.....

 

What actually happens is that drivers with non compliant vehicles get immediately incarcerated in labor camps North Korea style for the rest of their life. Their vehicles are sold at an auction.
So we can't know what happened simply because they disappeared.

But there is hope that maybe one day a fellow trucker will break out and we will know the truth.
There is also a chance that no one will believe this incredible story and he will end up in a nut house.

 

I'm an o/o from PA and my 2005 VOLVO WAS INSPECTED last year november on south SAN DIEGO, not far from pilot t/s. Just few days ago, got citation $1.000 on my mail from ARB for "NOT COMPLIANT WITH IN-USE STANDARD".
Asking me to register my truck into (TRUCRS)-"truck regulation upload compliance and reporting system" ..... pay $1.000 penalty before due date..(if not $800 an additional penalty. If corrective actions is not received before due date, will be sent to COLLECTIONS where all legal actions will be taken to collect..... ANY ADVISE???

 

Pay it, and stay out of there with a non-compliant truck

 

Where were you inspected? At a scale? While parked somewhere? At a shipper? Who did the inspection?

 

They were in my town of Modesto 2 days ago, at Winco Foods, behind thier gate, citing trucks.

 

I'm telling you .. i got CITED $1.000 and i don't know what to do now .. pay or not?

If you don't pay I think they keep adding money to the fine. If you get inspected in CA again I think they will impound your truck.
