I been driving for 3 months and got a ticket for driving on the I-70 with a hazmat load. This is my 4th time driving through it with a hazmat load and have never seen a sign nor has my company said anything about this route. Does anyone know how much a ticky like this coast?

Which state - I70 runs through a few.

I'm assuming this was the part of I-70 that is the Penna Tpk? It should say on the ticket what the fine is. If not call the 800 number on the ticket and ask what the fine/points are going to be.

Could also be Eisenhower tunnel in Colorado . . .

I'm thinkin more Indy or Buckeye Capital thru town when clearly marked to go around....restricted Haz thru either pa pike tunnels it Eisenhower is hole other can o worms ........and way worse than a sole ticket

The Colorado Department of Transportation is thinking of spending $25 million to add sprinklers to Eisenhower and Johnson tunnels because drivers of hazmat rigs are speeding and crashing on Loveland Pass. Colorado doesn’t have $25 million for such nonsense, and if it did, it should spend it more wisely.KB3MMX and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Easy to do as there does not seem to be any uniform signage used in different states.
The Eisenhower tunnel has pretty large signs. Being from Canada we use the dangerous goods symbols which is recognized all around the world. I remember going into Minneapolis - St Paul seeing a small sign that used the symbol NO over the letters HC which I had never seen before. Turns out that's no Hazardous Materials.KB3MMX Thanks this.
