Hey gang - I'll be taking my Optimus Prime replica truck across the Canadian border for the first time tonight. I spent over a month making sure I had everything I need as far as paperwork and permits, so I believe I'm all set for both the border patrol and the road. I'll be driving from PA through NY state and into Canada along the St Lawrence (avoiding Montreal) up to Quebec City.
Not knowing how the signs will be, I even made cheat sheets to place on the windshield translating French to English for the things I need to watch for (bridge heights, weights, weigh stations, "no trucks", etc.).
Does anyone have any other tips / things to watch out for when driving a rig up this way to Quebec? I am a newbie at this, but we all start somewhere right? So any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Headed to Quebec - any tips?
