Health Insurance Options

    Wanted to give some advice to those getting into trucking. If your company offers multiple of tiers of insurance, don't choose the immediate cost over the long term cost. A plan might be $20 less per week than a better one but it could cost you $100,000 more in the long term. :Wheelchair:


    In the past year, I've known 2 drivers who've been screwed cause they went with the cheaper weekly plan over the more expensive. :violent1:

    Consider the deductible, the % they cover, etc.


    Being truck drivers there is a greater likelihood of something major happening to us as opposed to the average office worker. :biggrin_25524:
