What do you guys do for health insurance?
Looking for normal health insurance and the way these places are online I'm totally confused.
Does anyone actually buy health insurance with a $12k deductible? Seriously?

Anthem I believe. Went to an insurance guy to shop it. " Bronze level" .
Never use it. Cheaper than the penalty. Stupid idea.
$5200 a year for wife and I.Dave_in_AZ, crb, Terry270 and 2 others Thank this. -
That's pretty bad when you gotta spend $5,200 a year for something you're not going to use
-
Healthcare.gov will give you a place to start......
I've got a real plan for $850 a month for just me..... But I'm old.
And my blue cross before the current healthcare debacle was over a thousand a month.Hurst Thanks this. -
And everyone says "Screw the Unions".....I betcha if you could do it all over again, You'g think hard about it.
Paying that $600-$1000 per month for mandatory health insurance gets old real fast. I Hate it myself, -
My health cost is $600 a month with wife and 3 kids with no deductible.
stayinback Thanks this. -
Your wife doesn't have insurance?
-
Very happy to hear this. -
I'm paying close to $900 a month me and 2 kids. Also have a $5,000 deductible to meet. Nothing like pissing away 17k a year , makes me sick typing this.
whoopNride, minirack and Hurst Thank this. -
For me the penalty is cheaper than a bronze plan. I see no point in paying for everyone else's health care. I can shop around for what little need I have of doctors, or should I say nurse practitioners. There are no doctors anymore.
1johnb, tonycr, Dave_in_AZ and 5 others Thank this.
