Yeah... you're losing air on the trailer
-
If I'm not mistaken you could hook your hands together and supply it.... see if it's still leaking. Someone more knowledgeable may want to weigh in on that.

Just turn the radio up louder...

Just to satisfy my curiosity...Was the internet already invented when you were a kid?
Just askin'... -
Set your truck brakes and release your trailer brakes, then go outside and see if you can hear any leaks (shut off your truck) if you don't hear anything outside then it is either a bad o-ring in the trailer supply valve, or just a leaking air line or fitting in the plumbing somewhere under the dash...and the only way to find it is to take the dash apart. Either that, or stop at the next scale house and say 'excuse me officer, could you help me find this air leak', they're really good at finding those pesky little things.
KB3MMX and Hegemeister Thank this. -
Try rotating your trailer air button in the the dash. See if it changes the sound of it. Mine does that occasionally because the o rings are getting tired in it.

It was a leaky air bag the last time it happened to me, but it could be a leaking can or leveling valve.
It stayed aired up, but the compressor ran more than normal. You hear it more easily in a quiet truck(can hear a smaller flow through the supply valve). -
