    DETROIT -

A truck driver attempted to take his rig below an overpass too low for his trailer on I-94 at Wabash on Detroit’s west side Tuesday.

His mistake destroyed the truck and could have caused structural damage to two overpasses.

Now what did you say, it does say he was on I-94.

If its like Texas then the feeder/service road is still considered part of the freeway when reporting on a scene. Now technically I guess he should have said service road but I'm gonna go ahead and say he is not the person in the article that needs to be working at McDonalds.

It's been a few years since I've been on I94 through the Motor, but I remember a few overpasses on 94 that were marked lower than 13'6. 94 is a major route, the bridges should all be at least 13'8 or so.

After he hit the FIRST one someone likely said " what's the chance of that ever happening to you again " and he went on to prove it could happen
