    hello, my hold wont open on the passagner side but the driver side it unhooks. I have a 2009 volvo 670 any idea how to open it from the outside,..?? Thanks in advance

    IIRC, there should be a latch, inside the cab, under the steering column.

    if you look in the wheel well pull the guard down and you can see where the hood latch is just pull the leaver
    and it will pop open
