I was in the hopper business in the south east back in 2006-2010 just wondering how its going now days? Thinking of possibly getting back into it. I can run phosphate out of here "Florida" to pretty much NC,SC,AL,TN,AR,MS and gettting good freight back is what I'm wondering about. I used to get good stuff out of AL and SC mainly back to FL twice a week. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks

I used to pull sulphur down there from Tx pretty regularly.

Usually loaded that phosphate to get back out.

Hopper freight is crap right now. I try to stay around the Midwest, until harvest then stay close to home. To be blunt if I had payments, i would be scratching a hungry ### about now. I would really do my research.

Thanks for the info. That's what I was wondering. It's been so long since I've felt with hopper freight.
