I want to find a driver who will team with me, male or female no matter as long as they are an experienced safe driver.:yes2557:
I tried craigslist but only got 3 hits and then no reply after they found out I was female. :biggrin_25526:I'm not looking for a boyfriend. I just want to work. Women drivers are the most cautious and safe drivers on the road so I hear. I read it in the company manual years ago.:biggrin_255:
Anyone can tell me how to find a good driver willing to team with me?

You don't want to be my girlfriend? I'm out! :)

I would be careful just accepting someone at random. You really need to know and get along with a teaming partner. Craigslist is full of whacko's.
Have you discussed this with your dispatcher? Sometimes companies will match you up.

You can makes some good truck driving friends by exchanging phone numbers with someone that makes a good first impression. Even in this forum. I'm off the road now but I still have drivers calling me in the middle of the night. I'd rather ask one of them to team with me than seek out a stranger.

If it's loneliness, try a pet. They work wonders.

I have job offers and clean DAC so no prob getting a job but that's it in a nutshell, finding a ok person to team with.
Bottomline I just want to work and get paid.

I just read the lady trucker post on here and have never had a problem with anyone hitting on me. I think it is flattering I just say I am not interested right now, I'm focused on certain life goals, thank you very much for the compliment but stop because it will get you nowhere.
Everyone that I said that to was very understanding and usually polite or if not, what's it to me? Not like I have to live with them forever.

Anyway, there's got to be some gentlemen or lady truckers out there who are willing to drive with me I just haven't contacted them yet.

Since I work in town and don't go to stop regularly I have thought of hanging out at a truckstop and chatting up likely solo drivers but how do you know who wants to go team?

I thought maybe someone on here knows someone or is that someone who wants to team. Give me a referral, spread the word!

PS. I on the other hand am pure as the driven snow, one of the nicest persons you will ever meet, I think, and I have the heart of an Amazon Princess! I have no idea what that means, it just sounds good. I.E. I'm a good person and the best team codriver you will ever have. Plus I love being around people, just the presence of another soul in the truck is a comfort. I like pets but some companies don't allow and they are demanding on time and time is money. A pet is like a baby, you have to care and love the pet and I just want to concentrate on being an efficient truck and make tons of money.

Geeze, I hesitate to offer this but......you wanna team? Try the pumkin, they'll even help you find a co-driver. Have a friend that works there and they've been helping him.

So where do you live and why do you want to go team vs. solo? i know of a few companies that pay like $1.80 -$2.00 per mile to the team, but for the most part i don't think teams nessesarily make more than a solo.

i am also looking for a team driver to try to make big money. Not nessesarily looking for a girlfriend(although that.......) i'm looking for someone cozy---someone who, if let's say, i want to pull over and sleep and just get some rest they won't mind. AS opposed to a maniac who won't stop the truck unless to fuel up.

It wouldn't be worth it to me to team with a general freight company because, as stated, i don't think they/you will make that much more than a solo if at all.

    @Melodyjhj
I would also like to team up with a female codriver, but I don't have any experiance. I am a recent student graduate, and just got a job offer with schneider. I'm curently waiting for them to team me up with a female. If you wanna concider me as your codriver, lett me know. I am a 34 year white female, and have same goals as yourself. Just work and make money. No drama.
