I take everything my recruiter told me with a grain of salt, I got him to put in writing my cpm which was higher than anyone else offered (.46) so it was good enough for me

If you are asking about your pay and they are not answering the question, your best move is to hit the door and head home. If they are not explaining detention, stop pay, breakdown, or any other incidentals, they are not planning on paying you. Also get everything in writing or you will find out later on your check.

Hesitancy on pay scale explanations would scare the POO out of me.
Get it straight now, on paper, or be gone.
You are likely to be mad very soon.
There is a reason they aren't telling you what you want and need to know... They're HIDING it.
If they were proud of it , they would be boasting of it.

New drivers start at the low end of the spectrum of cpm... this is no secret. But, you should know if you are to be paid for loading, unloading, tarping(if flatbed), chaining, layovers, detention, fuel bonus, safety bonus, etc.
Do they penalize your cpm for idling if it's cold or hot ??

There is a ton of Q's you could ask. They should have these readily available on PAPER.

A co-worker went to Prime be a trainer for his stepson at the end of last November. He came back after training the kid and told me today working for Prime was the worst financial decision he ever made in his life. The company he came back to? Swift (Intermodel).

I get paid in shiny pebbles and seashells. Lousy rate of exchange at the bank, too.
