Installing an echo board alters the tune, and it requires the rig be retuned. Any alterations to the audio chain require a complete realignment.

Some are questioning the "negative replies" to the question about installing an echo board. The reason for the negativity is that most of us have tired of listening to those moronic echo boards and mics on the radio. They add NOTHING to the quality of your signal and make you sound like some juvenile with nothing serious to communicate.
45 years ago, the only echos heard on CB were the result of homebrew projects and they usually sounded cool as they were used very sparingly by those who had them. For the last 20-30 years, hearing that obnoxious, moronic, crap on the air, all day, every day, they certainly don't make the user sound intelligent and they don't make him sound clear.
Don't wanna sound like a tard, the drop the echo!rabbiporkchop Thanks this.
