340 days on the road last year for me.
-
I'm somewhere around 325 or so.

Going by a 5 day work week, and about 48 weeks a year (taking vacation time and holidays) I can only surmise for me, it's 240. Then too, we had a bad winter and we didn't run for nearly a full week (adding up the days).

280 - 300...maybe

Trucking related >tasks< ?? Out of 365? I'd say I'll be doing a full circle, 360. There is always something for me to do. I drive 5-6 days a week. On off days I'm making repairs. Generally minor ones. Cleaning. I log my receipts and miles daily. And enter my settlement info into a database. I keep track of everything that I can. Including fuel mileage. And have charts that show me at a glance how things are going. Now most of this data entry stuff only takes 10 minutes. But it's worth it.

263 days or part thereof in the truck and not at home. For 2014 that is. When at home I do my billing and filings at my leisure. I like to go out and make money while the running is good then when it slows down I take a week or more at a time off. It worked out to an average of right around 5 out of 7 days trucking.

If you consider 8 hours a normal day then I work about 572 days a year.
HorseShoe Thanks this. -
For 2014 it came to 248 days
-
Somewhere around 200 days on the road and maybe 40 full days for other truck related tasks
-
Last year 300 days. This year it'll be around 270. As I gain more and more experience, I find myself doing less and less. When I'm off duty I don't even want to see a truck.
