How many miles

    After you are done with the training and you start on team driving. How many miles do you usually get in a week. Also after your 6 months if you decide to drive alone how many miles do you usually put in in a week there?

    Please if someone could answer this question I would greatly appreciate it.

    depends...it can be as little as 4200 to as many as 7000 team. Avg. 2800-3200 solo I figured. The money is in teaming, but when your down, it can hurt!

    Never teamed but solo look at 2000 to 2800 solo for a average.

    I rarely got less than 3000 when I was solo. every now and again, it would get towards 2500, but never lower. It just all depends on where you are when you're empty, and who your DM is...if he/she'll go to bat for you with the load planners or not; and that usually depends on if he/she likes you-as in you are always on time, never refuse a load, don't ##### about loads, and the like..

    As many as you want, but you just won't get paid for all of them.

    So even with home time, holidays, break downs and anything else you rarely got less than 3000. Seems like a stretch. Really never refuse a load even if the only way to be on time is to log illegal cause they won't reschedule. Sometimes you gotta refuse a load. You are not gonna be on time 100% of the time and if you say you are your lying because it's not going happpen unless all your delivery has a 24 hour or couple day drop window.

    A lot of my deliveries were 700-1000 and delivered quickly, yes. I also stated that I also would get down towards 2500...

    I ALSO said "when I was solo". Which means I was not always solo. I was a trainer. I'm not including my weeks with a student in these figures. However, my DM was great to me and when I was solo, I would not sit long while empty, and very frequently had weeks over 3000.

    You should average between 2,500-2,700 per week when you take the annual average. When business is slow you may only get 1,700-2,200 miles per week. During peak times you could run over 3,000 in a week. If you are budgeting then I would use 2,500 for a weekly average for the year. Business is usually slow just prior to Christmas and is usually slow until after the first of the year, which can be around the end of January or through the middle of February, depending on the customer base.
