I think there was some limit for issuing temp permits to cross Oregon, after that you have to register for weight / distance permit and put down $1900 deposit. Can someone tell me how many permits is the limit?
How many temp permits for Oregon a company can issue per year?

After 5 trip permits, they start taking bond deposits.
You don't have to come up with the $2000 all at once, you can continue to get trip permits. The trip permit bond deposit is $100 or twice the amount of the trip permit ($9 + $0.16/mile). Once you have made $2000 worth of bond deposits, you no longer can do trip permits and instead file monthly...
If you file timely returns for a year or two, you can get the $2000 bond back.Last edited: May 2, 2016
