How to get a truck with no money down and bad credit

Has anybody heard of "easy rig lease" with the website easryriglease.com? I had tried to contact those people by phone many times, and have yet to hear anything back. Note, that when/if you apply it says if you do not submit a complete application you will not be able to re-apply for 30 days. Complete application is defined by them as faxing in your 2 months bank statements with the application as well. Bank statements show account numbers, yes? I would be liery as all get out about even getting the application on my computer.

Every phone number listed on their site is not answered, it simply goes to the same voice mail recording, which sounds like it was recorded on a cellular phone.

It could very well be a legit business, but I personally still have not heard from them and it has been almost 2 weeks and I had called and left 3 messages. Also sent a message on their contact form and never did hear anything back from them. So use caution and your BETTER judgment for your own protection. I just know complete or not they are not getting anything with my account number on it until I hear "approved". The fact that if you do not include it initially they will not let you reapply for 30 days seems a little odd. Especially if they are wanting to sell trucks.

Anyway, just for those of you who might be really wanting your own truck, beware of that company easy rig lease. No telling where your information is actually going. I smelled a bit of scam when I looked into it.

I smell SCAM CITY here!!!! This EasyRigLease dot com sounds more like EasyIDtheft dot ripoff to me!!!!

just remember the shock of the bells and whistles ends long before the shock of your truck note. shop around ask the hard questions and if you can save til you can buy a truck flat out, if not save til you can at least put 50% down and can afford 3 months of bills incase things don't go right then go put 10% down and keep the rest in the bank and hope for the best

good post napier, and Rydah, I'm in the same boat as you cow girl. I'm getting my CDL-A after learning that I love the road after hauling FEMA campers to the gulf and then campers nationwide. I also don't have much cash but I'm fortunate enought to have parents that want me to provide for my children so They'll put the $5000 cash up front for deposit on a Penske Rental tandem sleeper. The rent is $575/week plus 9 cents per mile, so about $1000/week plus fuel. I figure since it's a newer truck that I don't have to worry AT ALL about breakdowns, tires, etc. I'll probably get better fuel mileage anyway so it may work out for the better. I'm admitting I don't have it all figured out, but I sure don't want to put the same $5000 down on a truck that might need an inframe rebuild or worse in less than a month. That would be devistating for me, so I might make less in the long run, but I won't look like a stooge with constant breakdowns and days or weeks at the shop in a far-away town. Hopefully this route will allow me to save, albeit slower, but nonetheless I'll make money constantly instead of just when my clunker isn't broke, like your intended route MIGHT take you on. There's probably better routes for me than a Penske Rental and I beg someone to give us details that would put us in a truck for the same or cheaper with "NO WORRIES". If we can just stay on the road for weeks or months with no breakdowns and 2000 or more miles/week we'll probably be able to save up for an '04-'07 truck that has a warranty. I want to be able to gradually pay off the deposit to my parents so when I have a truck in my sights that requires the $5000 deposit thats sitting when I return the truck rental for good. Buying vs. renting isn't always a better option especially if you don't have $3K-$8K for a backup plan even if its just a pre-set-up loan to keep you moving. Hope this helps and I hope the experienced truckers know of a better option available to us.

Penske and Ryder should be completely out of the question. Its a buyers market right now. Trucks are selling for next to nothing. Look at this. Price shows $16,000 I called and the will let it go for $13,500...

As for Cowgirl I don't think they made it very far with the truck if they bought it. No start up capitol and nothing to fall back on is suicide... Why would anyone do it? There is enough info on this site if you look around to teach you more than enough info on how to get started and do it the right way. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying it cant be done I am just saying that only 10% - 15% succeed, and the majority FAIL

Just ran the numbers on a Ryder Rental out of SC for one year...

(0.14 cent per mile x Estimated 135,000 miles = $18,900)

$50,206.70 (Truck Payment) + $18,900 (Mileage Charge) = $69,106.00

Total not including anything but payment for the truck... You could have paid off a almost $70,000 Rig for what you are going to pay them. If you can make this kind of payment and still make a profit why not just buy a truck out right and pay it off???

20% of that is $13,821.20

Work hard, cut all your bills, live as cheap as you can and put away $1000 a month. Can it be done? Yes... Is it easy? Not by any means. In 1 year and 2 months you can go finance an almost $70,000 truck that is yours ounce you pay it off. As we mentioned before the line of work you do means you can afford to pay Ryder $70,000 you can pay that truck off in one year lol...

So, in a little over 2 years you could OWN a very nice, dependable $70,000 truck or you could pay Ryder over $100,000 and have nothing to show for it.

I would live like no one else now so I can live like no one else later... Which is exactly what I am doing... Wish you all the best and good luck...

They are a joke and a bunch of loan sharks! They do not report to credit. They will try to repo the truck with 1 or 2 weeks behind. They require weekly payments. No grace period with a $100 late fee for being 1-day late. If you require any repairs within the first 30 days, they keep your truck for days on end with no work for you. They have no negotiations and no refunds. They will tell you that the Finance Company is NOT affiliated with them when they are directly affiliated with them and they even have lunch with the people daily. This is a RENTAL contract and not a purchase. They require that you RENT the trucks at crazy weekly costs for 12 months and then go out after that and find your own financing for their price of the truck.....What a joke- that is why you went to them. Do not trade your truck in or give them money. Within weeks you will be walking!.
