Southbound I15 shut down after pig wagon rolls.
https://www.stgeorgeutah.com/news/a...gorge-closed-in-both-directions/#.WAWNvCNMFSA
Initially both northbound and southbound lanes were closed, due to truck and loose pigs in road.
Looks like this happened around 1600 today, and according to the article there is/was no prediction as to when it will be open.
I apologize for not seeing this and getting it out sooner, for you southbound folks.
Virgin River Gorge seems to be keeping DPS busy today!
I-15 closed S/B in Arizona thru the gorge

I still don't see the reason to wreck there.
For me,further south in the 55 mph zone going through the canyon is where they should wreck.
I know I am so distracted by the scenic viewsbzinger, 4mer trucker and UsualSuspect Thank this. -
That is one of my favorite drives on I 15, not challenging, but the gorge is scenic and a drive everyone should do at least once.

Drove that stretch for the first time last month. Beautiful drive. No hammering down through there though...

I think of it as a smaller version of the Grand Canyon.

Idiots refuse to do the speed limit through there. Everyone always overdrives that stretch or road.
Big Don Thanks this. -
