    saw this on the news when it was happening. they were telling people to stay in their vehicles, turn the ac on and a wet rag over your face. if a vehicle beside me is on fire, no way i am staying in mine.

    It was bumper to bumper traffic. In other words, the traffic was stopped because of the construction on the interstate and also the lanes where reduced from 4 to 3. I passed thru there on the opposite side and 1 hour prior. The traffic was NOT moving. So they had no choice but to run away from the flames.
