I guess I've been banned from commentin on the news pages?

None of my comments show up now. It was sporadic before, now nothing.

It's just a pain in the --- to spend 20 minutes typing something on an iPhone only to have it vanish.

 

And as you can see from the thread headline, typos are madding with a touch screen with built in autocorrect.

Frankly I didn't know an individual (or IP#) could get banned from the news page, so I guess that's kind of relevant to share with the class.

Maybe I said something a little too saucy? I apologize, posts are often stream of conscious. I'd just like to know because if I am banned I'm not going to waste my time composing posts that will vanish into the ether.

 

You can question my technical savy all you want. I'm an idiot with computer stuff.

There's just a "post" button on the news page. So sometimes it just goes *poof*. It's not like there's an edit button.

I thought maybe my posts were being marked for moderation like some news sites do. Or maybe I'd offended someone and I was outright blocked.

Maybe it is just a fluke issue with upload and refresh issues. Next time I'll copy paste my post just to make sure.

I'll apologize in advance if I accidentally double post.

 

Wow, I just noticed the head moderator just answered my post!

I think I'll take the oppertunity to say, "nice place you've got here, and thanks for letting us hang out here."
