    I have an LED lights on my bumper of my semi I have one wire getting really really hot on my LED lights what would be the reason anybody know

    I got like twenty four lights on my bumper but only one wire is getting hot they're all connected together and one series

    24 lights one ground wire to be bad

    You got resistance in that wire .
    Could be half rotted out under the insulation

    Reminds me of when I tried to wire up my first stereo system at 16 and it ended up catching on fire due to not having the slightest clue. Wiring ended up setting the carpet on fire.

    Could be a nick or crack in the wire partially shorting out somewhere? Usually a wire getting hot either means its corroded and resistance is making it hot, or its shorted or doesn't have a good ground. If the light is full bright and there is no flickering you could probably rule out bad ground. Bad ground normally makes the light dim or flicker, unless all the grounds are hooked together, then check the grond at the connection, and wherever its grounded to the bumper or frame...
