    AVOID all of 78 in Pa--multiple wrecks due to freezing rain--road is closed between 23+40 in BOTH directions--no matter how it plays out going to be a loooooong time till they get this cleaned up...traffic already at a standstill on old 22--where they are trying to reroute traffic---so weather you are on 81 or in jersey headed thru--pick your reroute now--and remember all the usual close alternatives are already at a crawl if moving at all

    01/26/16 around noon . The Pittsburgh AM 1320 news break during Rush Limbaugh said tractor trailer went off an imbankment around Bedford and interstate 70 closed from New Stanton,pa to Bedford,pa while they try to cleanup

    Accident happened Friday, several hours earlier and 30 miles east of where the accident that shutdown the pike for weekend happened. Recover WAS scheduled for today at 9AM till noon but has been postponed till Thursday, 1/28 from 9AM till noon. Pike will be closed westbound at Breezewood. ALL WESTBOUND TRAFFIC MUST DETOUR AT BREEZEWOOD. Bedford, Somerset and Donegal on ramps going west will be open.

    I was eastbound yesterday on the turnpike, it was real warm too . Hard to believe it could be that cold up on 78.
    BUT, I saw that semi trailer on the westbound side,. I bet they had to remove the seat and the steering wheel to get that driver out. clenched

    That was around the 155 westbound before Bedford trucks been there since at least Sunday late afternoon when I went past it and still there today
