In my opinion, you have been misinformed. I haul milk on a part time basis and just last week, I ran over 3000 miles. From what you have written, Indian River has more trucks than the "demand". Ain't no way that I would put up with sitting 2,3 or 4 days between loads. Too many driving jobs for this type of "activity".
INDIAN RIVER: keeping you posted!

I would have to agree with XLS' s comment...unless you don't have enough experience or a boo-boo on your record that prevents going to a new job, a month of that kinda miles is unacceptable, this time of year especially. Most companies will provide transportation to orientation for the drivers they hire. You're at a company facility, so turning in your truck there and quitting so you can work elsewhere shouldn't be viewed as abandoning it.
xlsdraw Thanks this. -
as I have already said its not a "me" problem, as the Loves next to the Terminal is also full of IRT bobtails, and many of us go days without moving. so its not a me problem
ok, even if I get a new job I am going to have to move everything out of my truck, something that isn't easy and I have too many bags to take on a bus. how would I get to the bus station anyway?
so staying put is the only option I have -
Well go broke then.

Maybe he's happy being not busy?
