    I just received my annual renewal from Progressive and the premium went up $1800 a year. I have a clean driving record etc. I run ltl freight with a one ton truck.

    I would appreciate a few names of some different insurance companies that are familiar with writing these types of policies.

    I am guessing by it going up by $1800 a year it will now be more in line with the more established truck insurance providers. They have just started offering coverage for trucks, I have seen amounts from very low to extremely high. Where the agents wanted the business then a few claims came in then realized they charged to little, or they would quote a amount 3 times more than other providers.

    What's going on with progressive I added a friends with his truck & trail & mine it went up to 1300 which was cool then a month later they tell me my policy was wrong and now they want 2500 for THERE mistake & it will be 1800 a month after.
