In our shop we currently have a truck based on the international 7400 with a Easton synchro 6 maunal with dual cultch discs. We're having problems adjusting the clutch right now and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what's going on. No matter what we do we cannot get anymore than about 1/8 of an inch of space between the pressure plate and throw out bearing, turning the depression bolt does nothing. Me and the other tech think it might be the pressure plate itself, when we went to reinstall the transmission the clutch discs kept shifting even with the pressure plate torqued to spec. when the pressure plate was taken out (by another Tech that no longer works with us) it was dropped, so we think it may have been damaged.

Usually when the gap is that small there is plate in backwards.
