Does anyone know anything about interstate distributors lease purchase? I can't believe I'm actually considering lease purchasing lol.. I talked to a recruiter today and they now have the choice dispatch, I like that I can stay in CA, AZ, NV region (alot of freight moving in this region according to her) Truck note and expenses before fuel is 800_1000( according to her) they pay percentage, but I would start of mileage (1.01com loaded, 85cpm empty and 16cpm fuel surcharge =1.06 empty miles) .4cpm maintenance account or flat rate, 1500 down for a used truck. 2500_3000 down for a new truck. Balloon payment at the end of course.. I can do a 90day trial run and if I don't like it,I could walk away no harm no foul... Or sign a 18month to 3.5 year lease.. what you guys think?

The balloon payment at the end is a bad choice. You'll be paying 800 a month or week for 3.5 years. Your pretty much renting the truck for 3.5 years will you have the 40 to 50K to buy it?
I'm thinking of leasing from my company due to the fact they pay 100% of the fuel as long as the trucks stay governed but it's not a ballon type lease -

if that's the case how much would you be making 25cpm?

Man its been a long time since I've been on here. But I'm still trucking along. I know these treads are a little old and I wanted to ask if anybody is currently with Interstate doing the lease purchase deal? And if so is it good bad or the same old BS as every other lease purchase?
