is the oilfield (frac sand) good option to go right now?

    Fuel is in the settlement,but the maintenance,food ,FR clothing etc.....

    So at 25% of truck earnings you are limping along, slightly ahead of a veteran mega OTR driver. It sucks, I'm pretty much in the same boat. But pulling a flat some weeks can be pretty good, even now.

    Last couple of weeks it seems to be picking up. Here's hoping oil prices continue to rise. Sounds like $70 is the magic number for rigs to start added.

    $70 sounds about right. My fear is that, when the rigs start working again, we will once again be producing more than we consume, which will make the price go right back down.

    Im going to dryvan for the rest of the yr.
    im not coming back to this ####ttt till we are making 50k a month .

    You were running in South Texas. That's part of the problem right there. Most outfits ran from South Texas as quickly as they could once oil dropped. Dilley is like a frac sand trucking company ghost town now.
