How old are they? They might just be gummed up. Try taking them off and run a wire through the nozzles. If that doesn't work, buy new ones.

Probably two years old. I will try cleaning them.

Dump a gallon of white vinegar in the reservoir tank, they'll clear out on their own. Needles will damage the spray nozzle pattern.

vinegar is the acid. so it may cause a corrosion of windshield frame is will not be washed out well after all is clean. So know that windshield frame is a weak point (yep, rust) of FLD

Go to Freightliner parts for replacement parts. I had to replace mine about six months ago.

Blow them out with air. If you don't have an air nozzle, just pick up a used valve stem off the ground in a Wally-World Auto shop (they're scattered all over the parking lot outside the doors) and use it for a sprayer. Spray air in it backwards, it'll clear out all the debris- good for another year.
crb Thanks this. -
I was wondering about getting vinegar alli over the rest of the truck. They sp ray, but only get about 1/3 of the windshield wet. It needs to be fixed before the salt spray season.

You could take them off and soak them in vinegar if you're worried about it. If these are the nozzles I remember, they don't have a lot of holes, just 2-3 big ones, running a strand of wire, needle, toothpick in there isn't going to hurt them. If it's an actual mist sprayer, like a car, Bender's right. The last Freightliner I drove was a '98, they might have changed..

New nozzles don't make a difference. They are crap right off the bat.
