    ok so I was a driver from 1998 till2009 when I had a stroke so after recovering for 4 years I went back to work I tried the factory thing and even retail and they both sucked and I have had the itch to return to driving so I know I need training again since its been almost 6 years since I been on the road and I need to get a CDL again but cant afford a private school I live in king NC.So im looking for a company paid cdl traing school that wont rape me in the end any sugestions would be great

    Some companies will hire you with a refresher course; too many to list.
    Earl Henderson Trucking Company has their own CDL school and provide private hotel room(one person), 3 meals a day and will bus or Amtrak you to the school in IL. It's a coast-to-coast reefer outfit with a pretty good reputation.
    My guess is you will be fast tracked since you have experience; but, that's speculation.They have a new program of guaranteed pay for minimum 2100 miles a week.
    You will need:
    original social security card
    original birth certificate
    work gloves
    flashlight
    steel toed work boots
    sleeping bag & pillow ( these are for when you ride with your trainer during orientation period)
