Just started with Prime 8/17

Hey everyone, I've been reading these forums for a while now but never posted. I started my training this past Monday and boy, what a great experience so far. Minus the 36hr bus ride from hell lol! CBTs all finished, passed permit on Tuesday and tmrw I take the final for the sim class.
I didn't expect to have such a huge class! I think it was around 100 people showed up on Sunday. It's only Wednesday and the number has dropped a lot already. The staff here, and drivers coming in and out all have been extremely nice and respectful. Hoping to find a good trainer for me in the next few days before everyone gets assigned one.
I've waited a long time to make the move and get my butt out here, and I'm sad I haven't come sooner. Real glad I came though.
Anyone reading and wondering if they should bite the bullet, well my advice is if you love to travel and don't mind living on the road by yourself for weeks at a time, don't wait like I did!

 

Thank you! I know the basics of the pre trip, I was a mechanic for a while, so at least I know what all the parts and what they do. It sure helped on the permit tests!
I just need to get the rythem of doing it and repeating the same steps each time. Practice practice practice!

Training went well. Still plenty to learn though. Most of my class still hasn't gotten a trainer, so it's a few more days of sim classes and pre trip inspections.
I'm going reefer division.
