I don't know. I keep pretty clean. You just have to be careful and work smarter. I'm on my 3rd pair of boots in 1.5yr. First pair just weren't comfortable, 2nd pair I walked the soles off, 3rd (Cat) are going strong for about 3mo now.
But yeah draining down 40-60ft of hose is a pain.

He's a neat freak an cleanliness is his middle name. It was very rare to see him dirty but even the best of us get out that truck with a few grease an oil spots here or there. I used to let the hoses HANDLE me but over time I started HANDLING them so the job became much easier an a lot less dirty. -
I almost bought my own truck to haul for Klemm in Milwaukee after the company ( solar) lost their main contract to them, leaving me out of a job. But changed my mind very quickly, after they tried hiding what the loads are paying. My buddy is a company driver there, and let's just say you can make the same money driving a non- hazmat straight truck . All the OOs I ever talked to at the racks, ALL say the same. Hauling gas USED to pay good, it's not worth it anymore, but they never leave, which was always weird to me. Nobody will truly tell you what they make. Not sure how one can go deliver gas from loading to unloading in a white tuxedo and stay clean lol, my wife used to make me get undressed in the garage when I got home. And sometimes I'd bring a change of clothes on days when I was doing red dye diesel pump offs at the train yard, you get filthy as ####, guaranteed. If you get to a station and you have to run a hose under the trailer, it sucks and ull sweat your ### off even if it's -10 outside, because it's heavy as a #######. The job is fun and challenging, stores are happy to see you, cars try to avoid you, wish companies paid hourly and better, I'd still do it now. Tanker trailers ride nice in any weather, so much smoother than a box, and sloshing isn't bad because of the multiple compartments . Just my opinion
