well I was parked along the edge of the Nash county rest area last night and had a jack wagon nc state police kick about six of us out of the rest area at 2am for ( illegal parking).
I said I was out of hours and couldn't go back out on the road.
He informed me that he didn't care.
All this inforcement is all about safety though.....
Just ask any dot officer.
So at 2 am on I 95 north in nc at least 6 tired ,out of hours drivers are forced out on the highway.
But it's always all about the safety of the public.
All of the trucks were parked inside of the rest area just on the side because all the parking spots were taken.
No lanes were blocked to the rest area either.
Kicked out of Nash county North Carolina rest area at 2am

you try to fight them, next thing you know your being arrested on some trumped up charges, and resisting arrest, and what ever else they want to make up, when their pride gets in the way
-
You're lucky you were able to leave,
Most rest areas are full of clods who park along the edges making it impossible to pull out of a legal spot.jammer910Z, brian991219, tompetty69 and 3 others Thank this. -
Curious... If you're on elogs and move your truck in the middle of a 10 causing drive time, do you gotta do a 10 all over again?
-
Yup. Violation too. Unless it was only a few feet you might get away with it
