Hello! I haven't seen any info on what our pay is here so I thought I might update people. Here's my paycheck. I get .20cpm and after per diem which takes .02cpm I get .18cpm. It's a sliding pay scale but it doesn't matter since 90% of the loads are over 500 miles.

Note: This is the pay I'm getting while doing my first 30,000 solo. Hometime option is same as every other company. 1 day off for every week out. I'm not sure how much you get paid after 30,000 miles solo. It's hard to believe anyone unless I see a paycheck with the cpm on it. I was under the impression I was going to get .29cpm (being the lowest) after spending countless months researching pay scale and talking to recruiter. Anytime there's a sliding pay scale the only number that matters to me is the lowest one. I don't care if they pay $10cpm for 0-50 miles because I know there are no 0-50 mile runs. (It was an example). No, I do not hate the job. I just thought I could actually update people on what to expect as far as pay. I censored reinbursements, deductions so they can't find me and fire me for posting my own pay stub.

This is also how us new guys get stuck in lease purchase deals. It will take me 3 months to get "Normal Pay" I have no idea what normal pay is because all I see is numbers without paychecks. We get paid so low that when you see people making $1000 a week over at kllm lease, Schneider lease, etc its almost worth it to quit and go lease. People say you have alot to learn you only been driving 1 month. True but I also been training since March. Not only that but I have did over 200 runs and traveled to every state expect Maine. But .20cpm That's working 70-80hrs per week. Why 70+?? I count things like sitting at Tyson chicken for over 14hrs on SB part of my 70hr week. That includes walmart, budlight, and places delivering in chicago where you have to drive over out of the city just to sleep for the night at a truck stop. 11249307_876660069089053_2036490925772996430_n.jpg 11889430_876660555755671_3396883617692856026_n.jpg

Don't lease a truck from any company.
You should have gone with Earl Henderson Trucking Co. CDL school. They have a guaranteed minimum paycheck weekly. That's figured this way; you are guaranteed a minimum pay for 2100 miles @ .38 cpm. That is $798.00 guaranteed minimum every week. Even better, a few of their drivers have posted they made $55K their first year.
Yes, they have a lease program for those interested.
Maybe it's time for you to consider changing companies ASAP.

My god that's horrible anyway you look at it. Hell my first gig was better than that and that was in 2010. And you don't need to be a fleece operator to make $1000 a week plenty of company guys make that.

    Just a confusing pay settlement.

If they are SUBTRACTING per-diem...they are taking .12cpm

I can see why you want to lease then go o/o.

That sucks. Undoubtedly. However, you're putting your dues in. But.... You can find better money.

20 cents a mile?! Dang dude...

That better be for team driving!

    For solo driving that's piss-poor!

Oh, and don't lease... Do yourself a favor and just tell them hell no.

I started out at Schneider with 30 cents a mile, but I get paid to unload the truck. Otr starts off at 34+.

Thank you for posting your pay check, but I don't think most of us can glean much info from it. It does not show much in the way of taxes withheld, insurance, any possible advances, any misc. deductions etc. and bottom line how much was deposited in the bank.

When you add in healthcare and so on, I think the average taken out is 35%. Which from what I can gather brings the check down to around 250ish. (But that's state, federal, ss and health benefits.)

I don't know that it matters... To make a 1000$ check before taxes he'd have to run 5000 miles at that rate every week. (Averages to 71mph for 10 hours a day). I'm assuming he's not getting any accessory pay.

I guess the big thing is what does it become after your first 3 months?

Unless it jumps up above 32 cents a mile, you should be looking for another company.

I'm not bragging, but at my previous job I worked 40 hours a week, was home every night and had 3 days off a week... And I still made 100$ more than you do now. (It wasn't in trucking.)
