I'm running on the van side so just a really rookie question. When a load calls for pads, blankets and straps are they asking for friction pads, regular blankets ( I've never had to deal with blankets lol) and load straps correct? I truly apologize for the rookie question thank you.

Blankets and pads are considered the same depends on agency using the term. Basically a padded quilt you wrap items with to prevent damage. Used on things like furniture, slot machines, robotics, and many others. I don't know what landstar has freight wise for blanket wrap loads but I wouldn't think it would be worth your while to carry 50-75 of them unless you also have a ramp or liftgate trailer also. Load straps you should carry regardless of whether you do blanket wrap loads or not.
