65% for tractor. an additional 7% for your van or 8% for your flatbed. 9% for specialized trailer.

You get 100% of FSC, tarping, load/unload, detention, pad wrap. Any other accesorials are paid at your %. Very important to have agent list them correctly on freight bill. For example layover is paid at % but detention is 100%.

Why 7% or 8% as if the 35% isn't enough and the rates on loads board is that b4 or after the cut?

    ???
You get7or 8 % more for providing your trailer.

The rates on the board are gross money, you have to be smart enough to figure your part, don't laugh, some people can buy a truck but can't figure out what cut of the gross they get.

Well hello, I'm averaging $1.10 now with lease purchase. You mean to tell me I just wasted 18k on a truck for 20 cents more? Or am I missing something

Yes but it's the freedom. Be all that you can be. You are the boss as long as Landstar says OK.

Well as long as I can make a come up I'm OK. Right now in order to clear $2,500.00 I have to #### near do 6 to 7 thousand miles with a student. Would be nice if I can do that solo without so many miles

F### that. I get kinda irritated if I have to run more than 2500 miles in any given week. Work smarter, not harder.
