We use Windows and Android for our Landstar freight.

 

I know my mac doesn't work correctly with the LS system. So I installed windows on it......

 

In orientation they say the web site is Internet Exploder based and they do not support other browsers.

Firefox bombed and froze constantly, IE works as well as IE normally does.

App won't down load to my tablet. App is tagged as android phone.

 

So what is the best way to access the Internet. I used to have a Sprint air card but didn't work very well. Right now I just have an iPhone and am going thru the qualification process now so looking to start orientation soon. Thanks for any help with this.

Not sure but you may be able to use your Iphone as a hot spot. Carrier may have been your bigger issue. Service may be slow but I can usually grab a signal with Verizon service.

 

Windows and IE only. They are in desperate need of some upgrades in the tech department.

 

So someone with a Mac would either have to have a separate PC, or downgrade their Mac with Windows... What is this? 1985? Do you have to use pay phones and fax machines too? 5 1/4 floppy discs?

 

yes and they use abacus for calculating pay. Stay away so BCO's can have all the supply and less demand from 'approved carriers' picking up BCO scraps. More scraps raises rates... take away the s and that goes to the approved carriers.
