I have a buddy that served three years in Federal Prison at El Reno Oklahoma. The USG runs a huge dairy operation and inmates drive commercial vehicles within a 500 mile radious of the State Farm making deliveries to state and local jails. These are trustees btw, inmates with no reason to run and no risk to the general public.
The Texas state pen has their trucking operation right off I-45 just north of Huntsville. They run supplies out to the other facilities located around Texas. Don't see them stopped much though. Probably pretty tight rules for them regarding unnecessary stops.rookietrucker and FreightlinerGuy Thank this.
