Weed burner exhaust is an exhaust pipe that shoots down to the ground underneath the truck instead of the conventional stack or stacks exhaust going up the cab of the truck that you see commonly.

So if you had a weed burner, you might be more liable to get those fumes coming up in the vents if the gaskets were junk, I think is what he was saying

The 2 black vents have shutters on them they deform you can inspect them yourself

When i do a parked regen it puts out a nasty smell that gives me a headache. Your problem sounds like an exhaust leak getting in the cab.

On a side note, why are so many new trucks equiped with weed burner exhaust now days?

I have to say that I have smelled more exhaust coming into my cab more often with stacks than I have with a weed burner.

If you stand behind a bobtail with a weed burner wail it is running you can feel the exhaust quite easily even from a few feet away. It seems to get pushed right between the wheels just fine.
