You have 2 options OTR or regional. Either way you are an over paid company driver.
    Trucks are goverened at 65.
As a regional driver you can go % or mileage.
If you choose, % they steal 34% of what the load pays.
If you go mileage, they tell you what route you must take, where to buy fuel and how much to buy. You have NO options.
If you don't take their route, you will get charged for that milage.

You get charged .08/mile on a new truck(could be more now) for the maintenance account.
They frown upon you taking the truck anywhere but to them.
You do not get any of the maintenance account back if you leave.
That money you put in the account goes into a pool, so they can afford to fix OTHER trucks.
They want you to take your truck to them so it is free and they can keep your money.

There are WAY better companies out there to lease from.

Hirshbach sounds like almost every company out there.I dropped a load off at transcont in Soux City yesterday and this Hirschbach was the most annoying driver ive seen in a long time.Everytime I turned around he was in the way.I wanted to go check in.Had to wait for him to open the trl doors taking his sweet time,a good 10 minutes so I could park the trk. Then i get a door and there he is again.hooking to an empty in the way.Another 5 minutes.I unhook then hook and there he is again taking up the road to go back inside.Constantly in the way.Its like guy hurry up and leave.seeing you wobble back to the trk with your dirty sweat shorts and showing a half moon was not attractive at all.

Yes there is, when you are paying for the truck and the fuel and have NO say what so ever in where to fuel and where to take the truck for service.
Sorry but that sounds like an over paid company driver to me.
I may not have the ecperience as you do, but I have been around this industry my whole life.
