if you want to be an owner operator and do it your way, then dont lease purchase, save your money and buy your own truck haul your own freight and run the way you want. otherwise dont complain its their truck, they hold the note not you, you have nothing to lose if you you just walk away.

This is how Hirschbach operates, that is what I was pointing out.
Not all companies are this way. We are at a compnay now that we can do what we want with the truck and where.
*Just sayin* -
It's ok to lease a truck from one company and drive for another who isn't related in any way to the first.
But, you will always be better off to go to your local truck dealer, start a relationship with them. Tell them what you want to do, show them your experience. and ask if they will back you in your venture. Some will, some won't, just don't give up. It is not meant to be easy, if you give up when someone tells you no, then how easy it will be to quit when times get hard, and it will get hard don't fool yourself.
Just, Don't lease, it's not in your best long term interest. -
