Leveling valve on the back of cab

So I've replaced valve and the arm is now level, but of course nothing is easy with old trucks. It all started when connecting rod came loose at top. So I've got new rod, but it was top bracket that was worn out. Its plastic. Its held by 2 screws. Screws turn but it feels like whole thing inside turns. I will have to stop at the dealer and ask.
