looks like I'm going to be stuck in PA for a while.

Brought my truck in for a B service a few days ago at the Kenworth dealer.
They said I needed a new fuel pump supposedly... which they did.

I left and first day back at work I had fuel spraying everywhere..
At first I didn't know wtf I was seeing.. kinda looked like grease slung everywhere but I smelled fuel.
Anyway I find out I was going on the road with fuel somehow spraying all over! My engine, even reached the top of my cab roof.. there was even fuel on my trailer dolly handle.
So basically I was a ticking time bomb going down the road because the Kenworth dealer didn't know wtf they were doing.
Oh and my clutch also went out the same day this happened.. some coincidence.

I wanna sue these ########, if my truck came close to a cigarette I would have blown up :biggrin_25513:

Diesel fuel can't be exploded by a cigarette so you were safe.

Not to take away from the dealer obviously ****ing up but your truck isn't going to explode because it has a fuel leak. Diesel ignites at a much higher temperature than gasoline. You can pour a little diesel on the ground and put a lighter to it and it won't ignite.

Make sure the dealer pays for a truck wash.

Do you even have 50k on that thing yet? The failure rates of components on these new trucks are just frightening.

    91B20H8 and mickimause Thank this.
